Hello,

our system is BO XI 3.1 SP2 on Windows 2008 x64 with MS sql server 2005 SP3 x64.

We're running a huge report from .net opendocument and we get the following error:

An error has occurred:Request timed out.

What can I do?

thank you

Hi,

which kind of report ? CR, WebI, DeskI?

Do you have a Java AS or IIS .NET as AS ?

Check your timeout values as well. For Apache/Tomcat or whatever web/app server mix you are using.

Also check your idle timeout values on your Webi Report Server.

I have seen this often on our side, and it's mostly always Apache. Once it reaches its timeout threshold, it assumes the session is dead and just kills it. If a report takes longer than the timeout threshold to return, it will never return.

Hello,

These are CR reports,

We're using iis for infoview and java for CMC,

SSO is configured on Infoview.

So my problem is probably with iis

Hi,

well - openDoc can also be used on IIS or Java AS. Where do you use openDoc ?

Check the parameters from the bost above mine. You should also check SAP Note - 1413774
