GPA/SPA parameters in GUIXT or VBScript

I would like to know if there is a way, how to display value of a parameter from SAP memory of current user.

I have a request to display controlling area I work with on all CO transactions.

While there may be other ways, an option is to use an input script to call an ABAP function module that will return the value of the parameter to the appropriate field.
