Hi,
I have to create a batch Job and schedule it to run everyday from 8 am to 8 pm.
How can using SM36 I schedule this job? While using SM36 I can select either hourly or daily but not both at the same time.
Does selecting periodic job check box by default sets it to daily?
Also how do I restrict it to not run after 8 PM daily?
Your inputs will be appreciated.
Thanks
Sharad
if you want an hourly job between 8:00am and 8:00pm, it can be done in a not particulary elegant way, by scheduling a number of daily jobs, one at 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am -> 8:00pm. So 12 jobs, each set daily.
As I said, not elegant but it will work.

If you are manually creating the job via SM36 your observation is correct. You cannot schedule the job both as daily & hourly. There is a "No Start After" field, but the catch is this date cannot be later than 1 year

Hi,
I'm using SM36 to schedule a job, I created required steps and when I provide start conditions couldn't schedule it for 3rd Sunday of every month.
Is there any way to schedule job on 3rd Sunday of every month automatically without manual intervention? I don't want to use calendar, since we have several issues in using calendar.
