Hi All,

We are woking in one JDBC scenario and we are not able to connect to SQL 2008 system.

We have XI 3.0 version. we have basis to redeploy the driver that is also not working.

Now Basis is suggesting to apply Service pack. Currently we are on SP14 and they want to apply SP20 or 21.

Please suggest that is it advisble to apply SP also?

Best Regards

SP upgrade is usually done when the features provided by the new SP are required....if you also need the features of SP20 or 21 then go for it (after getting confirmation from your client)

May work ..... ask the basis team to provide you with a SAP Note (or other relevant source) which tells that an SP upgrade could solve the issue.

In the meantime you can try searching the solution for the Class Exception in SDN and see if there is any answered thread for it.

Abhishek.
