Hi

When you talk about latency it is depend on the Interface development and mapping logic and volume of data, give some more information about your interface req and design.

Try to identify throughput also, if you want to increase through put and letancy better to implement message packaging.

Hi,

This is in genral any SAP system communicate with other systems VIA PI 7.1,When the message is transmitted with 50 to 200 ms irrespective of mapping logic ( simple or complex).Customer wants to know what is impact for message with above mentioned latency period.

Hi Renu,

We can't say exactly how much time it takes, because this time depends on many things.

1. System hardware support

2. Based on the Adapter (If it is Idoc or HTTP the performance is high)

3. Size of the message you want to transmit.

4. Based on configuration also it depends if you are using integrated configuraiton then the performance is also high than normal scenario.

5. If you are using the FTP server then it needs to validate the FTP credentials so it consumes some time.

......... Like this time is dependent on many things, we can't say exactly howmuch time it takes.

Check 821267 OSS Notes in 14th question.
