Files attached to Document DIRs

Hi All,

Is there a method in SAP DMS that allows a user or programmer to determine all DIRs in SAP DMS that DO NOT have an actual file attached to the DIR?

Hi Bill,

in the standard there is no such function available. Normally there is a unique LOIO- and PHIO-ID created for each original which is stored in the content server. These IDs are stored in database tables like DMS_PH_CD1, DMS_PHIO2FILE or DMS_DOC2LOIO. Whereas the document info record data is stored in table DRAW. So maybe these tables could be useful for you to create a special report which compares the document info record data with the original data in the mentioned tables.

For example this report could check the document data in table DRAW and compare it with the entries in table DMS_DOC2LOIO. Because as soon as the document info record has an original file attached there should be also a LOIO-ID entry in table DMS_DOC2LOIO.

There is no any method currently in SAP DMS system to determine the DIR's with NO ATTACHMENT.
