We're currently on Sap 4.6c and OS/400 V5R3.

I just looked at the Cl for qstrup/qgpl and I saw this.

Sbmjob jobd(r3400/R3rmtdb) user(jobd) rqsdata(jobd) - in qstrup/qgpl

What's the sbmjob job. I never seen this before.

Is it needed or should I remove it

Hi Joe,

I think this is pretty old stuff - that job was needed up to OS/400 V4R3M0. You can remove that entry now, but make shure that you have an entry STRTCPSVR SERVER(EDRSQL) or STRTCPSVR SERVER(ALL). This entry replaces the function in OS/400 V4R4M0 and above.
