background job is incompleted

Hi guru,

This is Samrat. I am facing a problem with our ides server. A fico guy going to configure controlling structure through spro. He set up a program inbackground but he canceled it again. But now whenever they trying to configure the controling structure it shows that followin error which i mentioned in below:

Background processing incomplete; display only.

Message no. KT312

Diagnosis

You want to maintain controlling areas. Background processing has not yet ended for controlling area 5555.

System Response

The system branches to controlling area display.

Procedure

You can make changes only after all background processing has ended.

The job in question begins with SM34_5555*.

Hello Samrat,

To overcome the error, you will need to reset the batch flag in table TKA01. In order to reset the all batch job flags for the controlling table TKA01, please do the following:

Transaction OKKP

Input =KILL in the OK code field(the box where you enter transaction codes)
