Filter coming from BW variable not working properly

Hi,

I am using OLAP universe built on SAP BW 3.5. The BO version is BOXI3.1 (No SP2 or any FPs).

The filters coming from BW variables ar filtering only the measure values and not the dimention values in webi report.

as a result i am getting lots of unwanted rows with blank measure values.

I can avoid this by unchecking show rows with empty measure values checkbox in the table property, but it is not a good solution.

Has anyone faced this problem? Is it a bug?

I raised this issue to SAP. As per the comment I recieved, there was a bug in XIR2 that show rows with empty measure values checkbox in the table property was not working correctly. This is fixed in XI3.1.

The report is showing the exact data as the MDX returns from BW.
