ITS - Webgui problem

Former Member

Hello,

We recently upgraded our R/3 landscape to SAP ECC 6.04 and i'm facing a problem using ITS.

WebGui (http://<host>:<serverport>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui) displays the logon screen and when I try to log with correct user/pwd, Internet Explorer displays message "Please wait" and nothing else happens.

I'm not familiar with ITS, there is probably a misconfiguration. Can someone explain me where I can found logs ?

Many thanks.

Hi Alexandre,

First of all, you can join the ITS forum [here|;.

It looks like you have not published the WEBGUI and SYSTEM internet services via SE80. [This|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/kmE] Wiki should help you in this process.

You can also go through the steps from SAP note 816973 to have the WEBGUI working.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Cristiano

Old thread but here is what I did and it made it work just fine

SE38 and run the report 'w3_publish_services'

S_WEBGUI (doubleclick the blue line just above and publish all services for S_WEBGUI)

GLOBAL (Publish this service as well)

Cheers

Could you try transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL?

Yes I already try to restart ICM.

Port is correctly configured because logon page is displayed.

What about the BSPs in SICF - are they all started correctly?

Can you see any dumps in ST22 or any error mesages in SM21 for a valid period of time?

BSP seems to be started correctly. Logon screen is correctly displayed.

Did you try a restart of the ICM and check the configured ports? (Both can be done via SMICM as well)

Also check transaction SICF whether the BSP are started correctly.

Call SMICM and then Goto -> Trace File. You should then be able to see errors regarding the ICM processes.
