error account gain from asset salecould not be found

hi SAP techies

When trying to retire a FA with revenue, using transaction ABAON, an error appears as "Account 'Gain from asset sale' could not be found.please help

Ankur,

Please go to AO90.

Select your COA and double click on account determinations and select the account determination in right side and select again balance sheet accounts. In this screen you have to assign GL for Gain from Asset sale.
