Multiple inspection lots for in process inspection 03

Dear Gurus,

I have a material for which there is in process inspection.

The inspection lot is created at the release. I made partial confirmation for the order and received half the quantity in the storage location, then I made the UD for the lot.

I want to create a new inspection lot for the remaining quantity, I tried to create it manually from QA01, and put the process order number in orgin 03, but the system gave me an error message that there is an existing lot for this order, but this lot is closed and the decision for it has been made.

So isn't it possible to create another lot with origin 03 for this order ???

Hi Max,

As per my knowledge you can not create multiple inspection lot for inprocess for same process order.

In short it is not possible to create n number of lots for inprocess.
