Truck Icon Appears for Long Time in Client Import

Dear All:

Iu2019m in the process of exporting our production client and import it into Q system. I did the followings:

1-I used SCC4 and BD54 for client entry and logical name.

2-I tested the ERQCLNT200 (logical name for target client) in tcode SM59 and it works.

3-In the source system (production), I used the SCC8 to export the client.

4-I copied the files u201CERPKT00005u201D and u201CERPKX00005u201D into the transport directory for the target system.

5-In TMS, I tried to import the requests but the truck sign appears for long time.

6-I checked the logs but last step was u201C200 Selection for Importu201D. 200 is the number for target client.

7-I checked the import queue and everything is ok.

8-I checked the import monitor and it shows the log below.

Last activity: 21.06.2010 12:23:24

Target client = '200'

Maximum Return Code: 0000 - tp running

Start of action MAIN IMPORT

9-I tried to delete the entry in import monitor and I tried to delete the requests from TMS and imported again but still the same truck icon is appearing with nothing happens.

10-I left the transport for two days to be completed but with no change.

11-I checked the path
target_system\sapmnt\trans\log and below is a sample of the results.

Thanks for your input.

I did the followings:

1- Stop all tp processes at OS level.

2- Renamed the
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\tmp\ERPKKT00005.ERQ

3- I executed the command "tp import ERPKT00005 ERQ u8 Client=200 pf=
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ERD.PFL" where ERQ is the target system and 200 is the target client and our domain name is DOMAIN_ERD.

The result for the above command was as below.

I checked the path
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\data and there are the two files "RT00005.ERP" and "RX00005.ERP"

Any idea?

Hi Ahmed,

first you need to add this transport request into ERQ buffer , and then execute the tp import command.

to add transport request into ERQ buffer use following command

tp addtobuffer ERPKT00005 ERQ client=200 pf=
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ERD.PFL

then execute

tp import ERPKT00005 ERQ u8 Client=200 pf=
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_ERD.PFL

Dear Abullais:

I executed the commands successfully. After the import has been completed, I executed SCC7. At the end, i got "tp Status error/unknown" message in SCC3. I checked the file "
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\log\CC000055.ERQ" and the last few lines were as below. Shall I do something else? I know that i may execute BDLS tcode after SCC7 but are this message ok?

Hi,

Please check note #12746 for this problem. Basically all you need to do is to stop all tp and R3trans

processes on the OS level and rename the file
SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\tmp\ERPKKT00005.ERQ,

and start the client import using following command at OS level in background.

tp import ERPKT00005 SID u8 Client=xxx pf=\SAP-ERQ\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL

the above command start client import from where it was stopped, it will not start doing client import

from begining.

Both TRBAT and TRJOB tables have no entries.

For content of /usr/sap/trans/tmp, there are old files. No new files or modified files were created lately.

ALOG (there is only one entry):
