Issue Regarding the weekly off configuration in Time management

Hi,

How to configure 1st and 3rd Saturdays as Holidays?

any inputs on the above issue is highly appreciated?

Create Daily work schedules ex GEN & OFF.

Maintain Periodic work schedule as below:

01 GENL Text 001(Week) GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN OFF OFF

01 GENL Text 002(Week) GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN OFF

01 GENL Text 003(Week) GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN OFF OFF

01 GENL Text 004(Week) GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN GEN OFF

Your solution will not work as some months will have 5 weeks and the PWS suggested will go haywire.

Yes Ajay.....I think 5th week also Saturday is working day .....so they can use GEN in that week.In this case I hope absolutly works this scenario.

It will not work. PWS keeps rolling on calendar days some months may have 4 weeks and others 5 weeks and PWS doesnt start with the first day and first week in PWS at the start of the month.

Do try to implement it in your system and check if you get get 1st and 3rd saturday as holiday for 12 months.

I believe that Ajay's solution is the best suited to this scenario, provided that the 24 new "Holidays" use a special Holiday Class.

This is helpful to you

You will have to create 24 different public holidays ( fixed date) for first and third saturdays and assign different publil holiday class to them.

You make use of these public holiday classes in DWS selection rules and Day type rules.
