Hi there,
does somebody know how I can assign a higher prioritization to sync messages than to async messages in XI 3.0? In case of a bottleneck on the Integration Engine I want to get sync messages processed first. Message prioritization in SXMB_ADMIN does not work because it's ony applicable for async (EO / EOIO) messages.
Thank you.
BR,
Ralph N.
UPDATE: Since there doesn't seem to be a solution for this issue let me specify it. What kind of installation can be made in the landscape to separate sync messages physically from async messages?

Ralph,
Not a direct answer to your question.
But, you can make use of AAE to configure your sync scenarios and can be assured the performance is going to be much higher than using IE.

Prioritization can be done only where messages can wait. i.e. async.
Sync messages always have higher priority and I guess this logic is built-in within IE so if many messages arrived at the same time sync message will be processed first by IE.
However I am not aware if any config parameter exist to assign/change priority of sync message. I guess it is implied.

Hi Ralph,
You can prioritize your queues based upon your requirements. Please see this how to document on this:

As rightly said Sync messages can not be assigned priority in XI 3.0..
But I think there would be some default priorities to sync messages. if you define low priority to your async messages, then aoutomatically your sync message will get priority higher than Async messages.
