Multilevel Controlling for Integration of cProjects 4.5

Former Member

Hi Experts,

We have Installed cProjects 4.5 on CRM 7.0.

cProject has to be Integrated with SAP ECC 5, for replication of

Projects in cProjects to ECC 5.

We have to do configuration for Defining Controlling Scenario in ECC.

For replication of projects it is required to select option

u2022Multilevel Controlling (Structure Element, Automatic).

Currently this option is not available to select. Only Internal Order (Project Definition,Auotmatic) option is currently in the system.

Is it a system bug or any patches are to be applied on ECC 5 ?

Please help.

Regards,

Nitin Ghadge

Hi Nitin

There is unfortunately no possibility to downport the functionality of cProjects multilevel controlling to ECC 5.0 within the SAP standard.

SAP Note 971574 provides information about the supported integration scenarios (see note attachment "Supported_Integration_Scenarios.ppt").

The functionality of multilevel controlling is only supported from ECC 6.0.

Oue option would be that you upgrade to ECC 6.0, in which release this functionality is supported by the standard. If this is not feasible for you, then the only possibility will be to have this

functionality developed within the scope of a Custom Development.

I hope the information is helpful.

You might want to have a look at the consulting solution for this:

SAP Marketplace: Note 1309391

Or here: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=129335661

and specific:

http://download.sap.com/SMIGlobal/download.epd?context=6D94F61AFCC09F2112EF0DDAA521D89A3136AA9C1D9C3...

This consulting solution provides MLC and time confirmation via CATS with integration to SAP R/3 4.6c upwards. The consulting solution includes enhancements in the customer name space and minor modifications of SAP Standard objects.

Hi Nitin,

The feature that you want to use is available from ECC 6.0 onwards. However, there is a consulting solution provided by SAP to downport this functionality.

Please check the following notes:

Note 917301 - Downport multi level controlling with cProjects

Note 1309391 - PPM Consulting Solution: MLC with ECC prior to ECC 6.0
