1. I have excuted ST01. then I traced a Z trnasaction.

2. Only ouput on the trace file is S_GUI and S_Layout_GUI

My question is --.certianly there will be other objects that are being touched here ..but why is it that its not displayed on the trace. Or is it that no otehr objects are being

Hi George,

ST01 shows you the authorization objects which are checked during the execution of a particular transaction. If you are unable to see any authorization objects in ST01 analysis then it shows that there are no authorization checks(except 2 objects).

One more reason might be that the authorization checks might be at the stage till which you have not reached while executing the Z tcode.

Best thing is to sit with the developer and get the code checked for authorization checks, then proceed further with the trace.

In addition to Akshay, try to complete the entire activity that the user would do with that Z transaction & then analyze the trace result
