Shopping cart is not getting approved

Hello experts,

I have several shopping carts in my approval Inbox. When I am approving it, it gives me the message that the approval was carried out successfully but when I return to my approval inbox i still find it there. We used badi n steps approval and it seem that the middleware configuration are correct. I was able to approve one shopping cart that was created a while ago.

Have you encounter this particular problem and what setting should I check. Also I wanted to know how can i debug this part. We are on SRM 5.0. Thank you for your help.

Please put a BP at BBP_WFL_DIN_APPR_BY_RULE_GET here CALL METHOD lv_wfl_appr_list_exit->get_remaing_approvers

the system call the BADI. Check what your Badi is returning to the system when creating the SC and when approving.

Also check if you have the following note applied:

1297879 Endless loops for BAdI workflows
