Hello Gurus,
we have a Problem in our productive System.
The Users disconnect often for no reason and we can not determine why.
In the Transaction SM21 we can see these entries as examples:
SM21 16.06.2010
16:26:05 "Servername" DIA 002 100 "User" MD04 R4 7 Delete session 001 after error 061
and
SM21 17.07.2010
08:46:08 "Servername" DIA 002 100 "User" R4 7 Delete session 001 after error 061
08:46:08 "Servername" DIA 001 100 "User" VL02 R4 7 Delete session 004 after error 061
08:46:08 "Servername" DIA 002 100 "User" R4 7 Delete session 001 after error 061
08:46:08 "Servername" DIA DIA 002 "User" R4 7 Delete session 001 after error 061
I checked the dev_w0 und dev_w1 logs for these Alerts.
On 16.06.2010, In dev_w1 log:
M Wed Jun 16 16:26:05 2010

I´ve already experienced this message and i know that it could be caused from the user who deletes the actual session by choosing the option "continue with this logon and end any other logons in system" by multiple logons.
I can reproduce this situation by choosing this option and this message in the SM21 was generated for my user too.
10:53:45 "Servername" DIA 001 100 DIFAZIO R4 7 Delete session 002 after error 061
But i don´t see any Transaction in the column TCODE even though i was in the same transaction as the user, whose alerts you can see above.
Is it due to a network problem or are there any other protocols or logs for these disconnections?
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

Dear Alberto,
"Delete session 001 after error 061" occurs if the following senario happens:
The user is already logged in the system; He logged again with the same ID, then he will get a pop up window for 3 options:
1. continue with this log on and terminate other logon
2. continue this log on without ending other logon
3. terminate this logon
If the customer choose the option 1, then his previous session in the system will be ended, and the information about 061 issued.
There are also a number of reasons for these terminations:
1) If someone with enough permissions for the SM04 transaction deletes a session of a user you will find the same message in syslog and tracefiles.
2) Possibly the termination of the user follows a network problem. In this case you should find error messages like 'Connection reset by peer' in the syslog and also in the tracefiles.
3) Another possibility are problems with the SAPGUI. In this case you should see any error messages after activating the frontend-trace.
Note: 305363 shows you how to activate the frontend-trace.
4) A final possibility: a user is logged on; then logs on again choosing the option 'Continue with this logon and end any other logons....'
Also the problem could be related to kernel and libdbsl patches, there have been so many fixes that any number could be a match, but you have to remember that all fixes are not documented. SAP recommends to stay current with all patches as per notes: 19466 and 400818.
If it is a network issue please see the notes to try and find the network error #155147, #107407 and especially #500235 to run niping to find the problem on the network.
Also, see note 21971:
"If the frontend displays a popup with a reference to a
terminated connection, this is a sure sign of network problems.
If the SAP window disappears without leaving any messages, this
indicates a problem with the SAPGUI."
This can be caused typically when a network element with a low timeout value cancels a tcpip connection with no activity.
You have to contact your local network specialists for checking the network connection.
However there is a possible workaroud, which can prevent such problems. Try to set the parameter 'rdisp/keepalive' and
'gw/keepalive' to 60. This sends a ping every 60 seconds, and so the connection won't be canceled.
Regards,
Rafael

If you are in "Easy access menu" screen, the tcode wont show.
If you are in the tcode, it should show.
As part of the error, its obvious to see this error when the login was ended.
