Dear all,
We found that in SM04,SM20,STAD and so on, when user's computer named by Chinese, the terminal name then showed #####, and we can't get the right terminal information. But we can't change the end user's computer name for a IT security reason. Who can help? I can't find out a Note refer to it.
Many thanks for your attention and help!
Best Regards!
Thanks Juan, In OS level, the SM20 audit log file record as " ####" too.
Dear Damanaidu, i can't got your word "giving the IP address instead of the terminal name" while SM04 and SM20 all record the terminal name automatic.
Any other suggest? Thanks a lot!

Hello,
Can you check giving the IP address instead of the terminal name and come up with the result?
To traverse more can I have details such as whether the terminal name displayed is absolutely not matching or you see as a truncated part of the given name?
Thanks and Regards,
Damanaidu J

I presume is a code page issue... Do you have chinese installed in your system?...

Juan
