Special character not recognised in PDF conversion

Hi Experts.

I am using RSTXPDFT4 for converting the Purchase order output to PDF format. I am facing an issue when I am trying to convert the Output in French language to PDF format for mailing purpose.

The PDF file is giving some alignment problems and it replaces all ' (single Quotes) to # (hash). This issue is not there in case of English language.

Tried to find SAP notes but found nothing for french, I am not sure whether I should use notes given for Japanese and Latin character support.

Any help/suggessiong welcome.

Thanks for your reply.

My problem was resolved. There was an issue in the character formatting due to copy-paste of translations. We manually changed and retyped every single quote character which was causing the issue. This helped.

Hello,

Whch device type was the spool firstly created with before running PDF conversion via RSTXPDFT4? If you create the spool via Unicode device type SWINCF or other windows device type SAPWIN and then run the PDF conversion via report RSTXDFT4, does this work?
