Install workflow in MDM 7.1

Hi MDM Experts:

I am working on the upgrade from 5.5 to 7.1 and I cannot find the MDMWorkflowInstall .exe to make the workflow work. And I cannot find anything related to workflow on the installation guide.

Do you know where in the Market Place I can go to download it? I see everything on the MDM folder, syndicator, import, publisher, etc. but not the workflow to install it and make it work on the Data Manager.

p.s. I have MS Visio installed 2007

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Claudia,

I feel, with 7.1 workflow installable is embedded in Data Manager installable. So there won't be any separate installable for Workflow.

We also upgraded from 5.5 to 7.1. I just installed data manager component, but no workflow client (*as i was not able to find it). Still things are working fine and I can create/edit/delete workflow from data manager.

Check and revert with the result.

Hi Claudia,

There is no separate exe file needed for workflow.It will automatically available when you install MDM window clients

i.e MDM data manager,,MDM console etc.

Basically it will available with MDM data manager clients.

For cross check,after installing the data manger client you can check whether workflow.vsl is avialable or not in the

folder that you given at the tim of installing data manger client.
