Diff between GSA & LER

Hi,

I wanted to know what is the difference between Goods Reciept and LER, I guess both are used when one recieve's goods.

Usally Goods receipts is a term used in R3 where we use tcoe MIGO and actually do a inward receipt.

however in SRM WE have a term confirmation for Goods receitps .

Confirmation covers Materails and services There is no different code in SRM for sservice entry sheet ML81N as we have in R3.

Can you ellobrate on LER ??
