Import manager not connecting in SRM-MDM catalog application

Hi,

I have downloaded the Intialization tables into my local directory as .XML files whcih i plan to upload to the MDM server.

For this i need the MDM Import Server.

Now whenever i try to load a repository to my Import manager it says , 'No network available or the host machine is not running",,,, whereas I have mounted and started the MDM server in the console and loaded the repository as well.

Kindly convey any step which i am missing.
