Discount Value with Scale has wrong calculation

Former Member

Dear Expert ,

I want to ask about the discount value by using the scale.

We have the discount criteria as follows:

For Items A

If customers buy as many as 1-4 CAR , discount = Rp.3500

More than or equal to 5 CAR, the discount = Rp.4500

For B Goods

If customers buy as many as 2-4 CAR discount = Rp.1500

More than or equal to 5 CAR, discount = Rp.2500

When we create an order with Item A = 1 Qty and B = 1 Qty there is no problem, discount display correctly.

But when we make an order for materials A = 1 Qty and B = Qty 5 , why the discount has wrong? Discounts for Item A = Rp.4500 (should be Rp.3500) , and Item B = Rp.2500.

Why did this happen ?

Thanks in advance for your help....

Regards,

Danang

Dear Chandra ,

I've tried to apply this setting as you suggest in V/06

Group Cond = DISABLE

RoundDiffComp = enable

GroupCond.routine = 3 (Mat.Pricing Group)

The result is , scale rule is not working , so discount value like a fix discount.

Thanks & regards,

Hi Chandra and Sai ,

Thanks for your response and help.

Currently, Condition Record has set for Sales Office/Cust.Group/Material and ScaleBasis in Control Data is already in C (Quality Scale).

When I check in V/06 , current setting are :

Group Cond = enable

RoundDiffComp = enable

GroupCond.routine = 3 (Mat.Pricing Group)

Hope you guys can suggest me for setting .

Thanks & regards,

Danang

Hello Dananag

May be you are using group condition and that's why though quantity for A is 1, system is taking the total quantity of items A and B -6- into account thus using the second scale value. Check the condition type for the discount applied to A (V/06) and check if it is marked as a group condition and if so what is the Group Condition Rule.

I agree with chandra, the condition type should not be Group and no group formula should be used. The condition type should be Item conditon and scale should be quantity scale.

Please all these in the condition type definition in transaction V/06

Sai
