how to rever an XI object?

Former Member

Hi

In XI integration repository there is "History..." menu item for every object. From this one can open historic versions of the object.

Is it possible to revert to an older version of some object?

Say I have changed something and activated it... but as the testing does not give expected result... i must scroll developments back. What to do?

I tried exporting the original object at first... and after some changes import it again ... but still the newest version is kept active.

Any hints?

Best regards,

Heiko

open historic version -> change to "edit mode" -> save.

If there is no object at all, then you cannot view its history. I think so.

explore closed changed list in the change list tab and try to revert it back....Just a try from my side...let me know if it works.

I am eager to see answers for this.

@ Steafan, once we click on edit of a historic object version, it will not provide option to save ( in my 7.0 SP13)

When I make a dummy change, it creates the new object ID, which is neither previous one nor historic one.

How do get back to the same object version ID ?

Venkat.

Hi

Thanks. I am sure I tried these things before... but seems I was mis-clicking something.

Works in XI 3.0 and PI 7.0.

Thanks Stefan & Shabarish!
