Question about division of material

Hi there:

Sales org/distribution channel/Division of my material is 0001/01/02,but I am going to place sales order for it whereas sales org/distribution channel/division of sales order is 0001/01/01,my question can I place sales order for this material even though the division of material is different from the sales order,please advise,thanks.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to create the sales order with the division you specified (01)

In the sales order at the line item you can see the Division in which material exists

Not possible as the Sales Doc type is processed for one sales area at time only.
