ECC 5.0 Shadow start issue

I have issues in the upgrade at first time shadow start. When I look to WP's I see the following error message.

C *** ERROR => CPFB751 occured. Refer to job log.

C *** ERROR => DB4 DBSL Default connect failed|

C *** ERROR => HOST: LFUSESAP

B ***LOG BY2=> sql error 0 performing CON ¢dblink#2 @ 419! ¢dblink 0419 !

Host should be pointing at LFSNDBOX but for some it seems to picking up LFUSESAP from some where. has any one encontered this issue and has a solution?.

Hi Udo,

I would say, that this is normal when the trans-config is wrong.

Hi Udo,

Volker most probably means the configuration files located under /usr/sap/trans/config/<SID>. But I am quite sure they are not used by the upgrade.

Check the entry in R3<SID>400/R3<nn> *DTAARA, where <nn> is the instance number of your shadow instance.

If this one looks right, check the start profile under DIR_PUT/<SID>/SYS/profile.

If you are not sure about what led to the problem, open a ticket against BC-OP-AS4.
