Former Member

Hello. I need your help.

when I created sales order(VA01) and clicked item conditions,

I found that condition type VPRS take future price in material master account 1.

if future price is zero, VPRS take standard price.

I want that VPRS take standard price regardless of future price.

I didn't find any solution about this case.

I'd appreciate it if you help me.

thank you for reading.

You can try use tcode OMS2, select your material type and execute. There click the boxes for Quantity Updation and Value Updation.

OR

Check following link:

And SAP Note 372760 - Several problems with VPRS & Note 372772 - How does the system determine the cost?

Thanks & Regards

Thank you for your reply.

I went to OMS2, and I confirmed the boxes for Quantity Updation and Value Updation was checked.

but still VPRS catched future price in material master.

Hi,

When ever you specify the 'Future Price", you need to specify a "Valid from" date.

System takes this date into consideration and from this date the Future Price is taken automatically.

So, check the date.

thank you for your reply.

I am sorry, I don't know where "valid from" date is.

and I want that VPRS takes Standard Price regardless of Future Price.

after I specify a "Valid from" date, what should I do?

Hi,

It is in the Material Master data --> Accounting 1 view, beside the "Future Price" field.

VPRS retrives the cost of the material from this tab as per the Price control mentioned here.

If the Price control is "S", then system takes the Standard Price and if Price control is "V", then it takes the Moving Avarage Price.

But, at the same time , if you have specified the Future Price which is valid from to-day, then VPRS considers the Future Price (as it is valid today), instead of Standard Price or Moving Avarage Price.

also check your condition category for VPRS in v/06 it should be maintained as G or H

Thank you for your reply.

Of course, I set 'G' in condition category for VPRS.

if I set 'H', error occurs.
