sample size calculation

Dear Gurus

I have made a sampling scheme and assigned that scheme to sampling procedure and the sampling procedure has been assigned to the inspection plan. The table of the sample scheme looks like this

LOTSIZE SAMPLE C1 D1

100 10 2 3

1000 12 2 3

Now when a lot of 100 or less than that is generated the sample size is always 10 that is ok but when when the lot size is more than 100 the system is calculating the sample size as 10% but at that point the sample size should be 12 according to the scheme. Why this is happening ?

Regards

First make sure that you have entered the Maximum sample size in the sample table.

Now as per your table when lot size is in between the 101 to 1000 sample size must be 12.The difference can because of following possibility

1.You have used different seviarity & AQL values.

2.different tables for different seviarity & AQL values

3.Max lot size is not defined in table.

or You have used multiple sampling procedures in the task list so when lot is below 100 system calculates the maximum as 10( from this table) & when lot size is higher than that of 100 it takes percentage of lot size.Naturally 10 % of anything below 100 is less than 10.

I hope you understand the overall sample size is maximum of the all sample sizes of all char/mic.
