BI Upgrade - Need Advice

Hi Experts,

I am pretty new to BI Security.Our BI system is undergoing an upgrade from 7.0 EHP1 to EHP1.5.

Could anyone let me know if the post upgrade tasks in SU25 will be similar to that of R3 or if anything is specific to BI?I tried to search information regarding the same, but was unable to find any.Kindly help me in this.

Ram,

Start with RSEC_migration and then run Su25 to get the current roles to support the upgraded system.

or go with manual procedure (if you have less number of roles,queries,hierarchy & user)

Hi Sri,

Thanks for your reply.But Rsec_migration semi-automatically migrates the old reporting authorization

concept to the new analysis authorization concept in BI 7.0, right?But our system is already BI 7.0.We are only installing EHP 1, Support Stack Level 5.I am sorry, my question was wrongly worded initially.
