Quotation and Inquiry assignment Manually

Hi,

I would like to know the option (if any) of linking quotation to inquiry when both documents are created standalone.

The user will create inquiry in SAP and quotation will be generated from a third party system without refering to the inquiry. Later the user want to link these two documents to get a reference.

Is there any options to do so?

Hello Deepak;

I never did it before, but in the standard way we can't.

You can treati with any user-exit and insert the document reference at table VBFA (document flow).

Or for instance, you can just insert the inquiry number at Quotation header level, after creation. But in this case, there is no

node between them, just mention.
