Hello experts,
we just searched the marketplace and google for an report how shows active but unused printers in a system.
Also we checked options to filter printers for criteria in transaction "spad",
Does anyone can suggest a report for showing not used printers?
Sincerely
Hi Gerhard,
If your printer server is under OS Windows, you can use a powershell script:
#requires -Version 2.0
<#
Status information for a printer as below.
Value,Meaning
1 (0x1) ,Offline
3 (0x3) ,Online
#>
Get-WmiObject win32_printer | select name, printerstatus, detectederrorstate
The column "printerstatus" shows state of printer (1 for online and 3 for offline).
Hopefully these will help you.
BR,
Shinglon

Re: How to determine unused printers?
The BADI - EFG_SPOOL_OUTPUT seem not working fine as expected. The breakpoint was not triggered in when spool entry created.
Any idea?
