Hi,
We are with SRM 5.0.
In transaction SO50, what exit name should be mantained generally by default ?
What is the difference in giving the exit name 'CL_APPOINTMENT_REPLY' & 'CL_BBP_SMTP_INBOUND_OFFAPP' ?
Please expalin the main use of this transaction.
Thanks
Maron
Hi Maron,
Use transaction SO50 to define the inbound processing of mails.
In SO50, you need to maintain the email address, which would receive the mails sent by vendor. Also maintain document class as * and exit as CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL. Only when SO50 is correctly set up. You would be able to receive mails.

Hello,
Check the following documentation about offline approval:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm50/helpdata/en/31/ec423b4ac8d506e10000000a11402f/frameset.htm
If you are going to use synchronous offline approval, you should define in SO50 class 'CL_BBP_SMTP_INBOUND_OFFAPP'.
This class will process automatically approve/rejction e-mails coming from approvers.
Kind regards
Ricardo

Thanks for your replies.
Currenlty in SO50 we are maintaing ext name as ' CL_APPOINTMENT_REPLY' and does this indicate asynchronus ?
Also, in our Offline SC approval process, when the approver receives mail in his outlook inbox and if he forwards the same mail to unauthorized person ( to yahoo id if suppose ), still the cart is getting approved by thrid person which shouldn't happen.
How can we restrict this situation ?
Appreciate your replies.
Maron.
