Hi,
as was discussed here , the subfunction XX01 from the enterprise business function RE_GEN_CI_1 has one undocumented enhancement in it. The report RESRPR has an additional option "Display Only" at selection screen. This allows users to use the transaction for the reporting purpose without having all the contract locked for a change. Now it was confusing to learn that this feature goes in hand with one correction described in the note [1014016|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1014016] included in 602 SP07 and 603 SP06 and 604 SP06 which first introduces this exclusive contracts locks as far as I understood. Now if we have imported the correction from the note above but still want to be able to see the sales reports being listed for all contracts without preventing these to be maintained, which I suppose you need often, then the only way to do it is to activate the subfunction XX01. But by doing this we inevitably activate all other enhancement from XX01, which we don't want to do.
Whatever was the reason why these two changes in the transaction were separated - one becomes a correction and one becomes an enhancement - I don't see the way for us how we can fullfill the requirement of reporting on sales based reports without activating XX01. If then subfunction XX01 is a sort of prerequisite for the correction 1014016, then why it is not even mentioned in the note?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Hi Siarhei,
note 1014016 had been created to correct the update error when updating sales reports in RECN and RESRREPORT at the same time. So this change had been made to resolve a program error and hence is delivered by a note.
The additional "display only" parameter is an additional feature and therefore delivered in EhP2 as part of a subfunction.
If you don't want to activate XX01 you may use BAPI_RE_SALES_REP_GET_LIST instead and create a customer specific report for display of the sales reports.
Which of the other features do you not want to? All of them or a specific one?

Hi Franz,
I agree with you. Those are the options that we have. The BAPI-Function will help and maybe after sometime SAP will provide a standard report for this purpose in the RE information system.
We will look at XX01 enhancements once again. The only trouble that we have within is the standard transfer of adjustment rules for conditions from rental objects. The adjustment rules are not exactly the same for the contracts so we need to change it in contracts always, which is not so nice, but probably we can handle this new behavour.
Regards, Siarhei
