ADS is not working

Hi,

We have an HR EHP4 SPS 05 system which we want to integrate with portal EHP1 SPS06 with ADS SP06 to make use of ADOBE Interactive forms in HR system.

Following are the results of our tests:-

1) FP_PDF_TEST_00 --works fine and displays the version number.

2) FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE (with and without destination service)--fails stating SYSTEM ERROR:- com.adobe.ProcessingException: java.lang.NullPointerException

3) FP_TEST_IA_01:- Fails with ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: java.lang.NullPointerException(200.101).However the reader right credentials are installed in visual admin.

4) The destination check from and to portal from our backend system works fine. The DESTINATION services reads FP_ICF_DATA_<SID of backend system>. Connection test displays "received http response 404"

5) Changing the URL to the test program works fine in destination services in visual admin. Displays 200 return code.

6) http://<host name>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config ...works fine as well.

Please can anyone guide me how to fix points 2) and 3)??

Thanks & regards,

Rozal

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies. ADS was configured correctly.

Through the trace files we found that ADS services were trying to create a temp folder EP_TEMP which is set in the environment variable and by creating this folder and giving full rights to this folder solved our issue.

Thanks & regards,

Hi Rozal,

Have you looked at this link to check whether your ADS is configured correctly -

Hi,

Have you defined the the ADS connection in SM59. Check with your BASIS team if the ADS is configured correctly.
