Blocking the Storage Locations from Delivery

Hi

We have maintained for a plant different Storage locations like FG-Store,PRD-Store,WIP-Store etc

If the same material exist in the FG-Store ,PRD-Store

Can i restrict the Delivery to Happen only from FG Store & not from PRD-Store ?

What is the config required for it?

Hi

Thanks for the reply .I am having two FG Stores ie FG01,PD01

But in MMSC i am not able to delete PD01

I want to have the delivery only from FG01

The same material will be available at both the places,Now i dont want the material to be delivered from the Storage location PD01

How can i resrict the PGI from the storage location PD01

Hello,

Check your config for picking location determination (OVL3)

Or follow the path: IMG -> Logistic Execution -> Shipping -> Picking -> Determine Picking Location

If you want to block the storage location then remove it from picking location determination.

Hi

We have maintained it only for one storage location FG01 Hence it automatically determines the Storage location at the Delivery

But since we have maintained the other Storage location for the plant.the system does not stop you from delivering from the other Storage location.

still i can make a delivery from those which are not maintained at OVL3

Hi,

Please check the path

SPRO-->MATERIAL MANAGEMENT->INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & PHYSICAL INVENTORY-->AUTHORISATION MANAGEMENT->AUTHORISATION CHECK FOR THE STORAGE LOCATION

In that choose your plant and storage location and activate the AUTHORISATION

and it maintain the authorisation profiles for the object M_MSEG_LGO and you can't create a goods mvoement from this storage location.

Please try this and revert

Enter storage location in shipping tab of sales order itself.

Try to restrict stroage location for VL01N using transaction variant.
