Hi All,

I am getting the following error at the 38th Phase-Start Central Services Instance while installing the EP7(AS Java) on SuseLinux with DB2 9.7

Please check what the value of those variables is and then look up the path in the file system. It looks like the permissions or ownership settings along that path are not correct.

If that does not help you try to create the directory manually with the required permissions and ownership. The installer should recognize that and continue without throwing an error again.
