Dailog Installation Error : TypeError: nw.getJavaHome() has no properties (

Dear Support,

While installing Dialog instance for a NW7.0 EHP1 BI SAP system, we are

getting an error "TypeError: nw.getJavaHome() has no properties (in

script NW_DI|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 52089: ???))". Hence the instalaltionis struck up.

We are using the Installation Master DVD is D51036888. As this is the

production server installation, please give us the solution at the earliest.

we have re-installed the

JDK and the same version is woks with the CI and DB instance servers.

We have executed the Prerequisite check and user creation (using the

sapinst) were executed successfully. But the Dialog instance still

having error.

Please advise us at the earliest.

Hi,

JDK instllation is not sufficient, you have to set environment variable JAVA_HOME accordinly, Check if this is set corerctly.

Change/set if required, also yo need to log-off and login after changing this env variable.

Revert with updated status.
