SOLMAN initial config - error on SLD configuration

On the Initial Configuration wizard, just after click "Start SLD Configuration", the next screen asks for password of SOLMAN_ADMIN and J2EE_ADMIN. I enter both of these passwords, and receive the following error:

"Validation error: check connection to ABAP system with the Administrator User: Could not connect or logon to SAP Solution Manager"

Also - corresponding in the syslog of the Windows MMC I see:

SAP Basis System: Run time error "RFC_NO_AUTHORITY" occurred

Can someone tell me how to fix?

Can you please try giving S_RFCACL and S-RFC to the SOLMAN_ADMIN and restart the step.

Hi,

Create a new role with auth object

s_rfcacl

assign this role to solman_admin and then retry.
