Upgrade to EHP4 with DVDs instead of Maintenance optimizer?

I have installed ERP / ECC 6.0 "EHP4 Ready". Is it possible to use the other physical media I have to bring things up to EHP4? The main DVD I'm looking at is "EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0/NW7.01 enhancement package for all EHP4 components" (51033594). If so, then can you describe in detail what to do?

I do not currently have Solution Manager yet configured so I cannot use maintenance optimizer. I want to completely rely on these physical media.

Hi,

For installation, I think you can proceed with the available media that you have ordered. However for future patching, you would need a solman server with maintenance optimizer for downloading purpose.
