Error during Upgrading SCM 5.1 Non-Unicode System

Hi,

I am Upgrading SCM 5.0 Non-Unicode System to SCM 5.1 Non-Unicode System on Windows 2003 Server with MSS 2005 with central Instance number 51.

When I have executed prepare. bat file from the SCM 5.1 Upgrade Master it has copied some files to u201Cc:\usr\sap\putu201D directory then its asking the folder to start Upgrade Assistant Server and I have giving the same. When I select SERVER option First time I got error as u201CWaiting for SAP Upgrade Assistant Server (UaServer) to connect at port number 4240 (CTRL-C to interrupt) ..

Upgrade assistant server connected

SEVERE ERROR: received wrong reply handle from UaServeru201D .

Later when I tried again it is giving nothing with no progress.

Waiting for SAP Upgrade Assistant Server (UaServer) to connect at port number 42

40 (CTRL-C to interrupt) ...

Please help me what to do and also please tell me what should be the shadow instance number?

I have choosen option EXIT here. upgraded SAPup in the upgraded directory. then started UA Server from cmd and connected to upgrade GUI through browser. Now its in progress.
