according to note 1064635...
Enhancement Package 4 of SAP ERP 6.0 stack 6 is equivalant to ERP SP Stack 17
so if my source system is at ERP SP Stack 17 then when upgrading I have to get to EHP4 Stack 6.
that is pretty clear.
what if my source system is ERP SP STack 19? do i have to wait until EHP4 stack 7 comes available? will i lose data/functionality as SP6 is the latest available?
Hi.
You do not have to wait. Normally you use your Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer to calculate the additional Support Packages for the Upgrade. And the Maintenance Optimizer calculates a correct sp stack file...
the only thing you have to do is controlling if the equivalence is given when checking the file.

Hi Sandeep,
You are right. SP19 of ERP6.0 is latest than ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP6. Whenever you are doing upgrade you have to maintain equivalence level so that you will not face any problem during upgrade. So, you should wait until ERP6.0 SP19 equivalence is not released for EHP4.
Thanks
Sunny
