Stock overview

Hi,

Here is my scenario: PLANT 100 is assigned to SLOC- 1 & SLOC- 2.

Goods receipt of PRODUCT X is received into SLOC 1. ABC is then transferred to SLOC 2.

Sales Order is created in SLOC-2, where availability is checked, schedule line is confirmed for SLOC-2 , then Outbound delivery PGI happens from SLOC2.

My question is

Is it possible for a material X whose stock is maintained in SLOC-1, where the schedule line are confirmed for SLOC-1 and then goods issue happens from SLOC-2 ???

NO it is not possible. Wherever the stock is made available, only from that storage location, you can do PGI.

HI,

No this is not possible to do the Delivery from the Different location other than the location in which you maintain the stock

If you maintain the stock in the other storage location also, then only the GI is possible

Hi,

this is very much possible . If you maintain the sloc 2 in the delivery document.

Lets say in sales order you are not mentioning any storage location , so once the availability check happens at order level . it will reserve the stock based on unrestricted stock available irrespective of the SLOC .
