Data not available in RZ20 under availability

Hi Friends,

In RZ20 under availability monitor the system is not getting the data whether it is available or not.

the CCMSPING agent is running fine and have restarted the CCMSPING agent and also reset the local segment to warmup.

but still the data is not getting updted in RZ20.

Please suggest what are all the areas i need to check for the error.

HI Rahul,

Is availability Monitoring configured under RZ21->Technical Infrastructure->Availability Monitoring->configure CCMSPING availability monitoring.

If not, Please do it.

Hi Rahul

I take it the system is being monitored via Solution Manager RZ20 ?

If this is an issue in Solution Manager interface itself check note 1175058

If however RZ20 isn't showing the data in the first place --->

As I understand it CCMSPING must be installed only once on the CEN (Solution Manager) and pointed to each satellite system

- is this the case here ?

Also check that the target message servers are listed in etc/services for the CEN host

Also please check note 209834 and make sure you have the latest version of CCMSPING

Also check alert/MONI_SEGM_SIZE is set appropriately - too low and you can either deactivate CCMS or fail to get new alerts or MTEs showing
