Hi Ravi,

Check if you have done this Customization Step. This error most likely happens if you miss out to maintain the connection between your planning area and product allocation group. To maintain the connection, go to SPRO-APO-GATP-Product Allocation-Maintain Connection to Planning Area. Here, you connect the charecteristics and key figs of Planning Area to that of Product Alloc Group.

Hi Ravi,

I think you missed a step in customizing for Product Allocations.

Maintain connection between your Planning Area and the Product Allocation Group for the charecteristics and key figures defined in both the objects before you try to copy charecteristics or data between them.

You do that in SPRO->APO->GATP->Product Allocation->Maintain Connection to Planning Area.

Hope it helps.

Dear Ravi,

Check in SPRO for product allocation. If all settings are correctly done. If the correct planning area is specified which you are using in RSPC.

Also check if you have excuted t-code "/SAPAPO/ATPQ_PAREA_K - Characteristics Combination from Planning Area" in easy access menu.

Click on config "Check the Product Allocation Settings" and enter your product allocation procedure to check correctness of config. There should not be any error after executing this t-code.

Best regards,
