interface for progress database to PI 7.1

Hi All,

I want to know if there is a way to develop a interface between progress database and PI 7.1.

can we use available adapters like JDBC, if yes, let us know ?

Hi Raja Sekhar,

Actually the database which we are using is "Progress database", if it was oracle or sql we would have used JDBC adapters.

The required data is flowing from progress database, so we have develop the interface to store the data in sap systems through PI/XI.

If Progress Data base compnay providing drivers , then install in PI server, try to connecto to Progress Data Base, as per my understanding there is no restrcition like JDBC adapter to be used for only ORACLE,SQL server.

if you have required driver files and driver details use the same in JDBC adapter. if it is not working about then go for JAVA Client Proxy.

Which type of Data base it is??ORACLE or SQL Server....................
