SAP APO queries on installation

Hiii

Can someone please assist on the below :

1. difference between installation of SAP SCM and SAP APO ? Is it the same ?

2. Can you guide me to the path under marketplace alias /swdc where I can get the installables... and the files that I need to download

3. Where on sapinst can I get the related installation guide on SAP APO and Live Cache... ? I tried to check for apo but did not find anything

4. Is there any specific thing that I need to download to ensure that following business processes are covered ? Are all the business process available by default or do we need to install an add-on

Hello,

APO is the same than SCM.

As a first approach, I would recommend to read the documents in the support portal :

service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Business Suite Applications -> SAP SCM

You will also want to look to see if your business scenario requries the SCM optimizers which run a windows server. thus you are typically performing a SCM install, Livecache install, and possible Optimizer installs with a SAP Gateway instance.
