Hi,

If your requirement is about checking the size of a particular table then use the program RSTABLESIZE. Execute using the Tcode SE38

Hi,

if you have the access to the DB02 transaction you can chek in DB02 - segment management.

Also you can check it using BRTOOLS from the OS level.

Thanks,

Chaitanya.

DB02 -> Detailed analysis -> enter the name of the table.

It should give you the details of the table including size, blocks, segments/

Hi,

What you can do is instead of giving a sinlge table give * (or in similar fashion like Z, U etc) where it will display the size of all the tables in that client. But this might take some time to execute. Just try this if this meets your requirement.

You can check it at os level using brtools if your operating system is UNIX or AIX.

Steps are below - Login as orasid user and execute command brtools

Segment management -- Additional segment functions -- Show tables -- Database table (Provide table name over here)

And Press Continue for couple of times. It will give you desired output.

Thanks and Regards,

Kedar

Hi,

following steps will give you the more idea about DB size checking.

1.goto DB02 or DB02old transaction. Here you can get the DB size.

2. in the same tcode you can get the table size also. click on Detailed analysis and give ur table name.

it will bring the size of the table.

I hope it will help you.
