Business partner availability

Hi there; could you help me to change the business partner availability?

Now, in IMG - COLLABORATION PROJECTS - RESOURCE MANAGEMENT - BUSINESS PARTNER - EMPLOYEE OVERVIEW I can manage BP availability but I can only set AVAILABILITY = HOURS and BREAKDOWN = DAYS.

How can I change?

Hi Luciano,

no. You cannot specifiy the availability in a different unit or for a different breakdown. It is always saved as H/DAY.

Hi, how can we ensure that the business partner is available only for 8 hours a day and not 24 hours. Currently when I check the availability of BP within staffing section of resource management it shows 24 hours. Could you please guide?

Hello Luciano,

Do you want to change the values maintained for Availability?

If so,

Select the Business, click on Availabilty link, On Resources and Users screen, select the Business partner again and click on Maintain Availability link, on Change view Availability maintenance view : overview screen, click on new entry and enter values for End date, Start date and Availability Unit.

Hi Niraj; yes, I want change availability.

I worked on customizing table suggested by you, but here I cannot define unit: I can define start, end and hours for day.

My question is: can I change the unit? I mean, can I use day for week?

In table there are two more column to set-up this data, but they are locked.

Could you help me?
